Fuel Tank Design and Installation.  This is a power boat article and has some good ideas, although I don't know any professional that uses coal tar as a tank coating.  FYI.

Starboard Tank Replacement on KP44 Beatrix.  The tall starboard 60 gallon steel tank is replaced with a lower 100 gallon aluminum tank.
